Opening an office in Doha? Your complete stationery checklist

Everything a new office needs on day one, from files and staplers to the whiteboard and the company stamp, grouped so you can order it all in one go.

Setting up a new office means a hundred small purchases, and it is always the small ones that get forgotten: the stapler pins, the stamp pad, the whiteboard eraser. Use this checklist to order everything at once instead of sending someone out five times in the first week.

On every desk

Filing and documents

Paperwork builds up fast in Qatar: trade licence copies, contracts, LPOs, delivery notes, invoices. Decide how you will file from the first day.

  • Box files, one per supplier or per month
  • Ring binders with dividers for contracts and HR records
  • A two-hole punch
  • Clear pockets and document bags for originals
  • Labels for file spines, so anyone can find a document

See the whole range in Files & Folders.

Printing and paper

  • A printer that matches your volume, and one spare toner so you never stop in the middle of a job
  • A4 paper, 80 gsm, bought by the box
  • Envelopes in the sizes you post most often

Not sure which paper or toner? Read our A4 paper guide and toner finder guide.

Meeting room and shared areas

Things with your company name on them

These take a few days to produce, so order them before you open:

Pantry and cleaning

Tissues, cups, bin bags and cleaning supplies are part of running an office too. You can add them to the same order from Pantry Items and Cleaning Items.

Order the whole list in one message

Copy this checklist, add your quantities and send it to us on WhatsApp, or email it to sales@raifacentre.qa. We will send one quotation for everything and deliver it to your office. For companies that order every month, we can keep your list on file so reordering takes one message.
